HPN is committed to protecting your privacy.

To enable us to know who the Network is serving and to improve the relevance and usefulness of our publications and other activities, we need to ask you for some personal information when you register as a member of HPN. We use this information to generate anonymous aggregate statistics about our membership, publications uptake and web traffic in order to improve our activities and services. HPN will not sell, trade or rent your individual details or share them with others unless you have given us your permission.

We also respect your email privacy. We will mail you occasionally with information about your membership and updates about HPN publications and events. We will not pass your email address to third parties unless you have specifically consented to this. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Given the nature of the internet, where new security exploits and flaws are discovered regularly, we take every precaution to keep our systems up to date with the latest security patches.

HPN is managed by the Humanitarian Policy Group at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI). ODI is registered as a data controller under the UK Data Registration Act.
